James Carrington is a British singer/songwriter and actor, based in London and Los Angeles. His songs have been featured on numerous major US television shows including ER, Smallville, Side Order of Life and The Evidence, as well the Werner Herzog movie Rescue Dawn, starring Christian Bale.
James’ music has also been featured on a BT Openworld campaign and he is currently completing his debut album with Hollywood film composer and music producer Klaus Badelt (composer for Pirates of the Caribbean, Ned Kelly, Poseidon and more). Grammy-award winning British producer and engineer James Guthrie, best known for his work with Pink Floyd, is mixing James’ album, while other collaborators include the celebrated musicians Michael Landau, Luis Conte, Tom Coster, Abe Laboriel and Abe Laboriel Jr.
James, having studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) has appeared in Eastenders, London’s Burning and Out of Sight. He also performed with his band Little Giants, and as a solo artist appears regularly at Ronnie Scott’s and Bush Hall in London as well as numerous music festivals in the UK, Los Angeles and Ibiza.
